General information

Department of Computer and Control Engineering was established in 1981 (at first, its name was the Department of Automatics and Computer Science). Researchers work in established teams:

• Control Systems and Microprocessor Engineering
• Vision Systems and Optimization
• Artificial Intelligence and Fundamentals of Computer Science
• System design and operation
• Robotics and computer graphics

The Departament teaches students of computer engineering, automatic control and robotics, electrical engineering, power engineering, electronics and telecommunication. It guides the specializations:

• Artificial intelligence (track in Computer Engineering)
• Engineering of information systems (track in Computer Engineering)
• Computer control systems (track in Automatic Control and Robotics)
